Government Committed to Grenada’s Marine Protected Areas

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, July 29, 2014 – GIS: Officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment visited the Marine Protected Area (MPA) in Woburn, Clarkes Court Bay, on Thursday, July 24th. Cruise Ship Season Closes with a Bang

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, July 29, 2014 – GIS: Three thousand, nine hundred and seventy nine (3,979) passengers and crew members of the MSC Divina injected approximately $416,000 into Grenada’s economy on Friday, 25th July 2014. The 2012 luxury Italian cruise line berthed in Grenada for the second time since its inaugural visit on 28th May 2014. It returned to Grenada from Rio de Janiero, Brazil following the FIFA World Cup Finals. (read more…)

Prime Minister Attends Regional Heads’ Engagements in St. Vincent and Trinidad

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, July 24, 2014 – GIS: Prime Minister Dr. the Rt. Honourable Keith Mitchell leaves Grenada on Thursday afternoon, July 24th, for St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where he will join fellow Heads at the Handing Over Ceremony and Eastern Caribbean Central Bank’s 79th Monetary Council Meeting.
