Chinese Investors Promise Investment in Grenada

ST.GEORGE’S, Grenada, CMC – Chinese investors have promised to plough US$200million dollars into Grenada’s struggling economy after wrapping up a one week visit to the island. The investors have also announced for a follow-up trip in August to present specific project proposals.  (read me…)

The Chelsea Flower Show – London, 24–28 May 2011

Tuesday 24th May 2011 – Grenada has won its 9th Gold Medal at the Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) Chelsea Flower Show taking place in London, UK at the Grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.  Castaway, the name of the exhibit, depicts the changes in climate that behind the tropical idyll a potential threat is posed to the tiny Caribbean Island.  (read more…)

United Nations’ Climate Change Meeting in Bangkok

ST GEORGE’S, Grenada, April 13, 2011 – A last minute agreement by negotiators from 176 nations last has saved the recent United Nations’ Climate Change meeting in Bangkok with an agreed on an agenda to shape talks for the rest of the year but the future of the Kyoto Protocol remains in abyss.  (read more…)

GNN Meeting Tonight! – 2nd Youth Happy Hour with the Ambassador

Grenada Nutmeg Network (GNN) is a youth group aimed at creating proactive engagement between the youth in the Diaspora and the youth in Grenada. At the first GNN meeting in February, new GNN members eagerly expressed their willingness to come together and pool resources and ideas for the benefit of the fellow youth in Grenada.

Tonight from 7pm to 9pm the GNN will be holding its second meeting with Ambassador Bristol at the Embassy to discuss the areas of need in Grenada, objectives for the GNN and a plan of action.
