Grenadian Youth Movement in Washington, D.C.

“EMBASSY OF GRENADA, Washington, D.C. March 1, 2011 – An enthusiastic group of young Grenadians met at the Embassy of Grenada in Washington, DC last Friday evening to discuss their role in contributing to the needs of their home country.

The young professionals are members of “The Grenada Nutmeg Network (GNN)” an initiative launched by the Embassy in 2009 to engage the “young and young at heart” in nation-building.” (see full story here)

Connecting Vibes USA to Participate in Grenada’s Dance Festival

BALTIMORE, Maryland, March 10, 2011 – A United States-based dance company has been invited to participate in the 11th Biennial Dance Festival to be held in Grenada this year.

Connecting Vibes USA, directed by Grenadian choreographer John McQueen, is expected to participate in the June 1-5 Dance Festival to be staged at the Grenada Trade Centre.” (read more…)

Grenada and the US Sign MOU

“ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, MARCH 7th, 2011_Grenada’s Prime Minister Tillman Thomas and US Charge’ d’ Affaires, Bernard Link, this morning signed a Memorandum of Understanding that provides the Government of Grenada with a Maritime Support Package consisting of two ten-meter interceptor vessels, including spare parts; one vehicle; one trailer; information systems; and command, control and communication equipment.” (read more…)
