The Embassy of Grenada in Washington, D.C. is the diplomatic mission that represents Grenada in the United States of America, protecting the interests
of the Government and people of Grenada.
Honourable Tarlie Francis is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Grenada to the United States of America and Permanent Representative
of Grenada to the Organization of American States.
The Embassy negotiates with the host government and promotes friendly relations between Grenada and the United States, developing economic, cultural
and scientific relations.
The Embassy also provides Consular Services for Grenadian nationals and those wishing to visit or immigrate to Grenada.
The Embassy functions within the terms of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Missions, adopted under the United Nations on April 18, 1961; entered
into force on April 24, 1964.
