Tarlie Francis is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Grenada to the United States of America. A distinguished figure in both finance and faith, he brings a remarkable blend of expertise to the diplomatic corps.

As a seasoned professional, he has excelled in the private and public sectors, with notable roles in financial institutions such as the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange Ltd. (ECSE), Saint Kitts; and Caribbean Financial Services Corporation Ltd (CFSC), Barbados; and Republic Finance and Merchant Bank Ltd (FiNCOR), Trinidad and Tobago, as well as the Inland Revenue and Budget departments in the Ministry of Finance, Grenada.

Beyond his impressive financial career, Mr. Francis is also recognized as Reverend Francis, an ordained Deacon in the Catholic Church. He seamlessly integrates this vocation with his passion for training and advocacy. Through workshops, podcasts and public speaking engagements he shares insights on personal spiritual growth, financial acumen, investments, retirement planning, and entrepreneurship.

He holds an LLB (Hons) law degree, an MSc in Social Sciences; certified Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB) and has completed numerous other courses and certifications, including those from the Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the IMF Institute, and the University of London.

Ambassador Francis is bilingual – English and Spanish, and is a published author, with e-books on stress management and personal finance available on Amazon. His most recent publication, “Success Habits,” delves into personal development and is now available in print as well. His dedication to spiritual and financial growth, coupled with his leadership in both realms, complemented by accomplished foreign service assignments as special envoy for his country, makes him a valuable addition to the diplomatic community.
