2023 Consular Services Cut-Off

Reminder that our offices will be closed from December 22, 2023. If you need to renew your passport or apply for a visa before the end of 2023, your application must be received by Friday, December 8, 2023 to get it back before we close for the holiday season. Any applications received after that date will not be processed until January 2, 2024.

Passports can be renewed as early as 6-months prior to expiration. Don’t wait! Check your expiration date and renew now.

Consulate Closed – July 10-17, 2023

The Consulate in Washington, DC will be closed from July 10-14, 2023.

Passport and visa applications received during this period will not be processed until Monday, July 17th.

Please plan accordingly.

If you need to renew your passport or apply for a visa before the end of 2022, your application must be received by Monday, December 12, 2022 to get it back before we close for the holiday season. Any applications received after that date will not be processed until January 3, 2023.

2021 Consular Services Cut-Off

Reminder that our offices will be closed from December 24, 2021. If you need to renew your passport or apply for a visa before the end of 2021, your application must be received by Friday, December 10, 2021 to get it back before we close for the holiday season. Any applications received after that date will not be processed until January 7, 2022.

Passports can be renewed as early as 6-months prior to expiration. Don’t wait! Check your expiration date and renew now.

2020 Consular Services Cut-Off

Reminder that our offices will be closed from December 24, 2020. If you need to renew your passport or apply for a visa before the end of 2020, you must submit your application by Wednesday, December 9, 2020 to get it back before we close for the holiday season. Any applications received after that date will not be returned until January 2021.

New Passport Regulations and Fees

Effective November 1, 2019 the fee for Caribbean Community Grenada passports within the United States is US$250.00. The fee for Lost/Stolen/Damaged passports within the United States is US$500.00.
